Non-profit organisation founded in 1993. It works with young people from all areas of society to promote intercultural education, community development, international understanding, education and peace through volunteer activities.

- Visa: required. Please visit www.fco.gov.uk for more information.
- Arrival info: Volunteers should arrive two days before the start of the project for orientation. AJUDE advises volunteers to ask for their advice before booking their ticket to Mozambique. The extra fee for AJUDE projects is US$210.
- Other: Portuguese is not essential for the project as translation into English will occur, but it is recommended that volunteers try to learn some words before they leave in order to communicate with the local communities and be ready to be flexible in regards to this.
