SIW is a non-governmental, non-profit voluntary service organisation, which was founded in 1953. Its main aims are to enhance cultural exchange, to stimulate personal growth and development of people and to do work which is helpful for the society in any way possible. The organisations try to accomplish these goals through international volunteer projects.
