- YAZ - Youth Association of Zambia
Non-profit making youth organization founded on 11th May 1994 whose objective is to improve the living standard of youth and children in Zambia.
The organisation seeks to get young people involved in their activities in order to contribute to making a difference in the community and also to contribute to personal growth and national development through work and study camps.
YAZ's main activities include: voluntary work and study camps; HIV/Aids awareness raising; child rights and protection; youth business initiatives; democracy and good governance; gender awareness and development; environmental conservation; local and international youth exchange programmes.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Visa: British passport holders require a visa to enter Zambia. It is best to obtain visas prior to travel in order to avoid any potential problems with the airlines or with the Zambian Immigration Authorities. Any non-Zambian national overstaying their visa, not renewing their residence permit or working without a permit, including volunteer workers who should obtain business visas from the Zambian High Commission in London prior to departure or upon arrival in Lusaka, risk arrest, imprisonment and deportation. - Arrival info: Volunteers should arrive two days before the project starts for orientation in Lusaka, before travelling to the project location. YAZ can arrange for transfer from the airport on arrival, which will cost about 20€.
- Other: The project fee for YAZ projects is 210€, payable on arrival.
