Our Short Term International Volunteer Programme includes voluntary projects in Western, Eastern and Central Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia and Africa.
When considering your project options, think carefully about the country that you wish to travel to. If you haven't travelled independently before, you are advised not to apply for a project in a country where the culture is considerably different or where it may be more difficult to travel to and from the project. Likewise, research the travel costs involved as this will determine the additional costs required for the project.
For practical reasons we divide the projects in two different groups according to their geographical area: the Main Programme with projects in Europe, North America, Japan and South Korea and the North South Programme in Latin America, Asia and Africa
