| Although most projects are open to those aged 18+, we do offer a selection of teenage projects open to 16 and 17 year olds Be motivated, flexible and committed - full participation will be expected Write a project evaluation on your return to the UK Fulfil any special requirement specified in each project description, if applicable. For example, a small portion of projects require basic skills in the language spoken in the country (e.g. French, German and Spanish), some previous experience/interest in the area that you will be volunteering in. For additional information about the standard programme please read the small print section. |
Be aged 19+ Some relevant experience, especially international volunteer project experience, otherwise independent travel, living/working abroad or previous volunteer/community-based work is recommended Be motivated, flexible and committed - full participation will be expected Attend a preparation weekend in Brighton before departure Write a project report on your return to the UK Have some Spanish language skills if applying for a project in Latin America |
